Eddie McGuire has recounted the Adam Goodes documentary as "heartbreaking" and "very confronting."
The Collingwood president, who features in The Final Quarter for his infamous King Kong blunder, discussed with his Triple M morning program that watching the documentary was a deflating experience.
"Itโs very confronting and itโs heartbreaking to be involved in it in a negative way," he said.
"I encourage people to watch this documentary. What you have to do in these situations is you have to front up to things. Itโs an eye-opener. And if thatโs the bottom line, itโs been a worthwhile exercise.," McGuire said.
McGuire added that he has plans to screen the documentary at his son's school, where he will conduct a Q&A, as he encouraged listeners to watch the documentary.
"I hope it gives us an opportunity to, if itโs applicable to Adam, to get Adam back into the game," he said.
"I really want to open up and talk about things and be open to a solution. We want people to understand โฆ and look after Indigenous footballers."
