The AFL pre-season fixture has been revealed for the 2024 Community Series, with all 18 clubs set to participate across six days of football between Tuesday, February 27 and Sunday, March 3.

Collingwood and Richmond will open the fixture at Ikon Park, with Carlton and Melbourne to meet at the same venue the following evening.

Those four Victorian clubs are set to participate in the AFL's newly introduced Opening Round and will be afforded extra rest time before making trips north to either New South Wales or Queensland.

Their Opening Round opponents will play their warm-up matches on Thursday, February 29 with Sydney hosting Brisbane in Blacktown while GWS host Gold Coast in Canberra.

Geelong and Essendon will battle as a newly developed Kardinia Park on Friday evening, with Port Adelaide hosting Fremantle at Alberton later that night.

Adelaide and West Coast will meet at Hisense Stadium on Saturday, March 2, while Hawthorn will host the Western Bulldogs in Tasmania on the same day.

St Kilda and North Melbourne will conclude the Community Series on Sunday, March 3 at RSEA Park.

All matches will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and KAYO and fully ticketed for fans to attend.

The AFL has also confirmed clubs will also have the opportunity to participate in an optional match simulation training session at a date determined by the clubs prior to the AFL Community Series Matches.

The final update to the pre-season schedule was confirmed this week, with Melbourne set to meet Richmond with a seven-period match simulation session on Sunday, February 18 at Casey Fields.

A total of eight matches between February 21-24 have been confirmed as part of the match simulation sessions organised by the clubs as well.
