The AFL Footy Show has once again found themselves in more than a spot of bother. The often controversial Channel 9 program has this time seemingly angered an entire nationality through a comedy skit segment on this week's episode.

The Herald Sun reports that Stefan Romaniw of the Federation of Ukrainian Organisation has made numerous complaints over show panellist Shane Crawford mistakenly referring to Ukrainian entertainers the Cossack Brothers as Russian during the course of the episode.

"AFUO has formally complained to Channel 9 about Crawford's cardinal mistake in 'misrepresenting" the Ukraine's Cossack Bros as Russian." Romaniw wrote on Facebook.

The AFUO has called upon members of their wider community to contact Channel 9 and express their outrage. They have also demanded an apology on next week's show.

In the tongue-in-cheek segment, former Hawthorn premiership star Crawford was dressed in Russian clothing, and proceeded to pull off some dance moves, along side a group of dance professionals.

Moments later Crawford threw to an older Footy Show clip of long-time panellist Sam Newman dance with Ukraine's Cossack Brothers.

The Footy Show account had promptly deleted the clip, having originally posted it during the show.
