Port Adelaide could be forced into two more late changes ahead of Saturday's clash with Geelong, with forward Jeremy Finlayson and defender Miles Bergman both said to be in some doubt to take to the field at Kardinia Park.

The Power were forced into two changes midweek after Aliir Aliir and Lachie Jones were placed into concussion protocols, joining Francis Evans in being omitted from Ken Hinkley's side that fell to Adelaide last week.

On Friday, the club revealed Charlie Dixon would miss the trip to Geelong due to a foot injury sustained at training, while defender Kane Farrell was also a late withdrawal due to illness.

Evans earned a reprieve due to the two further changes, with Ollie Lord also coming into the starting side.

Now, according to SEN's Tom Morris, both Finlayson and Bergman are in doubt to play after falling ill.

Should both players be unavailable to face the Cats, Hinkley will need to dig further into his list of emergencies. Both Jackson Mead and Riley Bonner were named in the Power's 26-man squad on Thursday, with Hugh Jackson and Jase Burgoyne joining them after Friday's changes.

Three of the Power's emergencies could be required on Saturday, with Port Adelaide potentially making two further changes as well as naming a tactical sub an hour out from the opening bounce.

If any late changes are made, the Power will likely confirm them along with their tactical sub call at approximately 6:25pm (AEST).

A loss to Geelong could see Port Adelaide fall two spots on the ladder to fourth if Melbourne and Brisbane both collect wins this weekend.

The Cats will host the Power at GMHBA Stadium, with the match to commence at 7:25pm.
