West Coast's Jeremy McGovern has established himself as one of the game's premier defenders over the past few seasons and if he has his way, there could be two McGoverns at the Eagles in 2018.

McGovern's younger brother, Mitch, who burst onto the scene playing as a forward with the Crows in 2016 is out of contract and is attracting the interest of Fremantle and West Coast, with both clubs keen to lure him home to WA.

"I actually don't think we've ever played together. He's my brother, so I would love to play with him," Jeremy McGovern said in an interview with AFL.com.au.

"I'll let him know that I'm pretty keen to play with him for sure, but at the end of the day it's his career, it's up to him."

Jeremy said he beloved his younger brother always showed the potential to be a star at AFL level.

"I wasn't too surprised," he said in regards to Mitch's impressive season with Adelaide.

"I've watched him obviously since he was a little fella and I've always thought he had pretty good talent."
