Richmond youngster Hugo Ralphsmith will make his AFL debut in Saturday night's clash against GWS.

The Tigers on Thursday confirmed that the 19-year would get his first senior opportunity in the Round 9 Marvel Stadium contest.

Ralphsmith has impressed in the VFL in the early rounds of 2021 and was one of Richmond's best players in their most recent clash, racking up 18 disposals against Werribee.

The 188cm player was drafted to Richmond out of Sandingham with Pick 46 in the 2019 AFL draft and can play on the wing, at half forward and at half back.
