The Footy Show has once again struggled in the battle for TV ratings, recording their lowest viewership ever.
Channel 9's Thursday night broadcast managed just 53,000 views in Metropolitan Melbourne, a 40,000 drop from last week's 7:30pm start.
The show returned to its usual 8:30pm AEST time slot, joining Channel 7's The Front Bar, blowing The Footy Show out of the water with a recorded viewership of 278,000.
The Front Bar managed to bring in more than five times the viewers that The Footy Show recorded with guest appearances in Geelong star Patrick Dangerfield and St Kilda legend Nicky Winmar, while Essendon's David Zaharakis and the Cats' Zach Tuohy joined Channel 9's program.
