Multiple current Saints were Blues first, courtesy of Stephen Silvagni's involvement at both clubs.
Silvagni is likely to show Paddy Dow and Jack Carroll the exit from RSEA Park at season's end, with neither able to bed down meaningful roles in Ross Lyon's starting side.
The same cannot be said for fellow former Blue, Liam Stocker, who is appearing more and more likely to garner an extension. His 25 touches against the Swans last time out were his most for the year, in positive signs.
The club is likely to persist with emerging commodities Isaac Keeler and Eamonn Armstrong.
