The league's 22under22 squad was released this week, reigniting the debate of which young gun is the hottest property across all 18 clubs.

9. Andrew McGrath
Once again just pipping Taranto for selection, McGrath has stood up when it has mattered for the Bombers. His 2020 season has warranted favouritism for the Best and fairest whilst being a walk-up to the AFL's 22under22 midfield.
'Pigeon' thrived in an under-manned Essendon midfield early in the season and hasn't put a foot wrong since whilst adding a stronger contested game to his arsenal.
