Collingwood and GWS have agreed to terms for a deal which will send Jesse Hogan to the Magpies.

The Pies will part with a fourth round selection, likely Pick 70 with Hogan to arrive at the Magpies early in the trade period rather than waiting for delisted free agency.

Hogan will add an important piece to the Magpies' forward line alongside the improved Dan McStay.

It was publicised in early September Hogan had chosen Collingwood, who will hope to get some good service out of him after an injury-interrupted nine-game, 12-goal season.

Collingwood is also in the market for ruck Flynn Riley and veteran Richmond half-back Jayden Short.

Hogan is one of four Giants likely to depart, alongside 2026 skipper Toby Greene, half-back Lachie Whitfield and forward Jake Stringer as the club enters a reset ahead of 2027.
