Defenders

Back Pocket - Shannon Hurn (West Coast)

This marks the second week in a row that Hurn finds himself in our team of the week. Despite his side going down he again was everywhere, recording 29 disposals and clunking 10 marks.

Full Back - Phil Davis (GWS)

A fantastic game in the wet for the Giants co-captain. He did everything he could for his side, finishing the game with 23 disposals (17 intercept possessions) and seven marks.

Back Pocket - Sam Mayes (Brisbane)

Mayes was one of a number of Brisbane players who stood up in their game against Carlton. He would go onto finish the game with 23 disposals and an impressive 12 marks.

Half Back - Nick Vlaustin (Richmond)

After returning from a shoulder injury last week, Vlaustin was back to his best against the Giants. 21 dispsoals, 13 intercept possessions and 11 marks meant the defender was ever-present for the Tigers down back.

Centre Half Back - Michael Hibberd (Melbourne)

36 disposals in a terrific win means Hibberd once again earns a place in Zero Hanger's team of the week. He has been excellent since coming to Melbourne, and round 18 was no different.

Half Back - Jack Crisp (Collingwood)

While Shannon Hurn was everywhere down one end, Crisp was doing the same thing down the other. He had 33 disposals in a terrific effort down back for the Pies.
