The Power will drop club champions Justin Westhoff and Paddy Ryder for Saturday's match against league-leading Geelong at Adelaide Oval on Saturday, according to a report by AFL.com.au.

Alongside this, youngster Sam Powell-Pepper and defender Jarrod Lienert will also be axed from the side.

In their place will be Ollie Wines, Charlie Dixon, Brad Ebert and most-likely  Joel Garner in as a defender.

Sadly this will end Westhoff's 135 consecutive run of games played, a streak that is the current longest in the AFL.

It comes after the Power's 21-point loss to Fremantle at Optus Stadium.

In further news, Hawthorn veteran Jarryd Roughead will be recalled for his side's clash with Sydney at the SCG on Friday night.

The 32-year old was spent the last several weeks in the VFL, however, coach Alastair Clarkson confirmed his return to the senior side on Thursday morning.

“He has earned his spot back in the side,” Clarkson told reporters at the airport.

“He’s worked himself back into some form so we’re excited to give him another chance this week.”
