Sydney has stated the club believes Nick Blakey will be in red and white for the 2027 season, while the future of two veteran Swans is less of a certainty.
Blakey has emerged as a potential trade option for rival clubs in the wake of Sydney's 'Pullman Five' scandal, with the All-Australian reported to have an interest in finding a new home for 2027.
Under contract until the end of 2031, Blakey is yet to request a trade, with the Swans yet to be informed of any desire for the half-back flanker to seek a switch elsewhere.
Speaking on Monday, Sydney list lead Chris Keane shut down the idea of Blakey being traded before next Wednesday's deadline.
"Nick's contracted for another five years, so we've had no indication from Nick or his management that he's keen to explore anything. We're really confident that he'll be at our footy club next year," Keane said.
"I can understand the interest at this time of year, but as I said, there's been no indication. So we're really dealing in hypotheticals. At this stage we expect him to stay.
"... if [a trade request] was the case, and it certainly isn't at the moment, then we'll act in the best interest of our footy club. And right now, he's contracted and required."
Superstar Chad Warner - another member of the club's recent off-season scandal - has also emerged as a potential trade option, but is expected to see out the last year of his contract.
Keane said that while he is aware of West Coast's interest, Warner is "committed" to the New South Wales side.
"Matty Clarke said there was a level of interest the other day. But he understands where that's at," Keane added.
"Chad is really committed to our footy club, really committed to digging in and righting some wrongs.
"He's a wonderful player, and we're really excited about what he can do next year."
Keane expects all other members of the 'Pullman Five' to be with the club in 2027.
Meanwhile, veterans Dane Rampe and Harry Cunningham are still assessing their futures as they remain without deals for next season.
Keane said the Sydney stalwarts remain a "wait and see" until after the trade period has concluded.
"They're a bit of a wait and see when we get through this little period," the Swans' list manager said.
"Dane and Harry are both sort of assessing what their future looks like, and I think it'll probably be over the next couple of weeks we'll get an indication of what that is."
Keane also poured cold water on the idea of ruckman Peter Ladhams leaving the club this off-season.
"(He's a) required player, a popular player of our club," Keane added.
"I understand the ruck discussion every year seems to pop up, but he's contracted, and we expect him to be there next."
Sydney currently holds Picks 36, 37, 50, 52 and 74 for next month's AFL Draft.
