Peter Ladhams has been handed a one-week suspension from the MRO after a third quarter incident with Port Adelaide's Ollie Wines on Saturday, in which Ladhams appeared to punch his former teammate.

Ladhams has been charged with striking, with the incident graded as Intentional Conduct, Medium Impact, Body Contact.

The 24-year-old has accepted the one-game ban and will miss his side's Round 15 encounter with St Kilda, Swans coach John Longmire confirmed on Monday.

Giant Braydon Preuss has also been handed a ban, charged with rough conduct after a rough tackle on Bulldog Tim English.

The incident, which occurred during the first term of the Saturday night clash, was graded as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, High Contact.

Preuss and the Giants have since accepted the sanction, with the Giants ruckman to miss this weekend's clash with Collingwood.

The MRO also charged Eagle Willie Rioli with striking after an incident with Cat Sam De Koning during the first quarter of Geelong's 18-point win.

The charge was graded as Intentional Conduct, Low Impact, Body Contact.

Rioli can accept a $2000 fine with an early plea.
