Ryder has been one of the better ruckmen in season 2017. He is averaging 93.1 points per round, and is performing well for the Power. This week he goes up against Toby Nankervis, who has impressed. However, Ryder will likely have the athleticism over the Tiger and could run him off his legs, a chance to score big for the big man.
Luke Hodge - HAW|DEF|$471,900 - vs. Collingwood
There has been plenty of talk during the week about the future of Luke Hodge. Don't be surprised if the veteran comes out firing against the Pies and puts out a big score. Collingwood have struggled in their front half, and rushed entries could see Hodge have a field day.
Alex Witherden - BL|DEF/MID|$117,300 - vs. Essendon
The Brisbane defender played just his first game of the year last week, and dished out a solid 76. He has the potential to back it up, and is at a very cheap price. Could be a potential trade in if you need to make some quick cash.
Michael Hurley - ESS|DEF|$512,000 - vs. Brisbane
Hurley is an incredibly talented player and has no doubt hit his straps over recent weeks. He averages over 100 points across the past five rounds. He should have a great day against a very young Brisbane forward line, and thus should dominate the back half. He could also potentially be slung forward.
Heath Grundy - SYD|DEF|$384,800 - vs. Melbourne
Grundy had a ripping week against the Bombers, earning himself 117 points, and a spot in the Zero Hanger team of the week. The one area that Melbourne have had their troubles is in the forward line, so we could see Grundy have a big game.
