Gold Coast midfielder Aaron Hall has been spotted touring North Melbourne's facilities on Friday morning.

Hall was introduced to a few members of the club at Arden Street and is expected to undergo a medical later today.

Having fallen out of favour with Stuart Dew during the year, the Kangaroos look set to swoop in and grab the 27-year-old in the NAB AFL Trade Period.

Hall only managed six games and didn't return to the side after his injury in round 11.

The Tasmanian born midfielder has played 103 games and is not a free agent. For him to move to Arden Street, a trade has to be made.

This will help the Kangaroos midfield depth as it provides more outside run as the club tries to have a big off season.

The club is set to pick up Port Adelaide midfielder Jared Polec, and have met with Sydney defender Nic Newman.

Andrew Gaff is another name that the club is targeting as the Victorian born free agent is yet to inform the Eagles on whether or not he wants to stay.
