Footscray 25.13 (163) def. North Ballarat 5.9 (39)

This result was no surprise, with the lowly North Ballarat succumbing to the the strength of Footscray.

Mitch Walllis finished with 34 touches and three goals for the victors, while Tory Dickson kicked 3.1 in his first game back after off-season surgery.

Nick Rippon was good for the Roosters despite the loss, collecting 33 touches, and snagging two goals.

Geelong 14.8 (92) def. Casey 8.8 (56)

Rhys Stanley dominated across the ground for Geelong, and helped lead them to a win over Casey. He had 22 disposals, 26 hit-outs, three goals, and 12 marks.

Thomas Ruggles also had a good game for the cats, as he amassed 29 touches.

Jack Trengove was again impressive for Casey, finishing with 27 touches. Angus Scott (25 disposals & three goals) also had a great game for the Demons.

Werribee 14.13 (97) def. Essendon 9.20 (74)

There was a myriad of AFL talent on display in Werribee's win over Essendon.

Veterans Lindsay Thomas (four goals), and Andrew Swallow (25 disposals & 12 tackles) were good for the Tigers. While youngsters Declan Mountford (22 touches & 10 tackles), Braydon Preuss (49 hit-outs & a goal), and Mitch Hibberd (28 disposals & a goal) also impressed.

For the Bombers, David Myers was good despite the loss, he had 27 touches and 9 tackles. While youngster Kyle Langford was also solid, collecting 20 disposals, and laying 14 tackles.

Sandringham 17.11 (113) def. Collingwood 12.21 (93)

It was the Paddy McCartin show in this one, as Sandringham knocked off Collingwood. The St Kilda big man kicked 7.3, and took 10 marks.

For the Pies, Jordan De Goey put in a great effort. He had 32 disposals, and 2 goals. Jarryd Blair also did well, finishing with 33 touches and a goal.

Port Melbourne 14.14 (98) def. Richmond 9.14 (68)

Port Melbourne have maintained their unbeaten record, beating Richmond by 30 points.

Sam Dwyer was one of the best on for the Borough, he had 10 marks, to go along with his 25 touches. Eli Templeton was also good for the victors, collecting 32 disposals, taking 10 marks, and kicking a goal.

Sam Lloyd was Richmond's best player on the day. He made his case for a senior recall, with 22 touches, and four goals.

Williamstown 8.14 (62) def. by Box Hill 13.12 (90)

Jonathan O'Rourke (27 disposals) put in a good effort, as Box Hill knocked off Williamstown. Ty Vickery kicked 3.1 for the victors, in a performance that may see him slide back into the seniors.

Ayce Cordy was good for Williamstown, finishing with 15 disposals, and 10 marks. It could have been an even better day for the big man, however he could only manage 1.3.

Coburg 11.13 (79) def. by Northern Blues 21.15 (141)

The Northern Blues have dominated Coburg in a high scoring affair. Sam Kerridge was excellent for the victors, he had 31 disposals, took 11 marks, and kicked two goals. Dale Thomas was also amongst it, finishing with 31 touches, 14 marks, and a goal.

Blake Mullane was one of Coburg's best, kicking four goals, and collecting 22 disposals.
