Northern Blues 12.8 (80) def. Geelong 11.9 (75)

The Northern Blues held to beat Geelong a fast finishing by five points on Saturday afternoon. Nick Graham was excellent for the victors, he had 37 disposals, eight tackles, and seven marks. Kristian Jaksch also chimed in with four majors.

Rhys Stanley did well after being dropped, he finished with 21 disposals, 33 hit-outs and two goals.

Williamstown 16.6 (102) def. Footscray 2.11 (23)

It was a tough day in front of goal for Footscray, only managing to kick two goals. Nicholas Meese had a ridiculous day in the ruck for Williamstown, finishing with 94 hit-outs, 17 touches and a goal. Arryn Siposs was also good with three goals.

On a dark day, Nick Jamieson was among the best for Footscray, he kicked a goal and collected 24 disposals. Ruckman Tim English suffered a cheekbone injury early on in the game.

North Ballarat 8.13 (61) def. by Richmond 14.19 (103)

It was an easy win for Richmond, as they now find themselves in third position on the VFL ladder. Tyson Stengle kicked three goals and had 17 disposals for the Tigers, while his teammate Jacob Townsend (25 touches and 11 tackles) also performed well.

Hayden Walters was good for the Roosters, he slotted two goals and collected 22 disposals.

Collingwood 13.8 (86) def. by Essendon 15.10 (100)

Essendon flew home with the wind, recording an impressive comeback win. Brent Stanton had 28 disposals and kicked two goals, while Craig Bird was again good with 31 touches and a goal.

There were some impressive individual efforts for Collingwood, with Tim Broomhead (37 dispsoals), James Aish (27 disposals and a goal) and Mason Cox (15 disposals, 30 hit-outs, and two goals) all performing well.

Casey 12.14 (86) def. Coburg 6.7 (43)

Corey Maynard put in a good performance and Saw Weideman slotted three goals as Casey took the win over Coburg. Angus Brayshaw also had a good game for the Demons.

Keenan Posar did some good things for the Lions, he managed to slot two goals despite the loss.

Werribee 17.3 (105) def. Port Melbourne 15.12 (102)

Werribee surprised some people, claiming a thrilling three-point win over Port Melbourne. Lindsay Thomas slotted four goals, while Todd Goldstein asserted his dominance, kicking two goals and was crucial in the middle.

Despite the loss, Jordan Lisle was good in front of goal, he managed to kick five majors for the Borough.

Sandringham 14.11 (95) def. by Box Hill 22.10 (142)

It was a goal fest for Box Hill as they blew Sandringham out of the water. on Sunday. Teia Miles slotted five goals for the Hawks, his teammates Andrew Moore (28 disposals, nine marks, and four goals), and Ty Vickery (three goals) also impressed.

Nicholas O'Kearney was no doubt one of the Zebras' best, he had 35 touches and a goal.
