Essendon 15.7 (97) def. Williamstown 12.10 (82)

32 touches and a goal from David Myers has lifted Essendon to a 15-point win over Williamstown. Josh Begley also performed well for the Bombers, kicking four goals.

Leigh Masters gave his all for the Gulls, kicking two goals to go along with 25 disposals.

Port Melbourne 13.9 (87) def. Collingwood 19.10 (124)

Port Melbourne has dropped just their second game of the year, going down to Collingwood by 37 points. Mason Cox had a day out for the Pies, kicking six goals, and recording 24 touches, 24 hit-outs, and 15 marks. Chris Mayne also impressed with five goals, as did Matt Scharenberg who had 35 touches, and a goal.

Former North Melbourne and Richmond player, Robbie Nahas, led the way for the Borough kicking four goals.

Sandringham 8.1 (63) def. Coburg 13.10 (88)

Coburg has registered their first win of the year, getting over the line against Sandringham. Ben Allan was terrific for the victors, he had 26 touches, eight tackles and kicked a goal.

Jack Steele could have earned himself a senior recall, recording a goal and 34 disposals in the loss. While big man Jason Holmes kicked a goal and had 26 hit-outs.

Footscray 13.17 (95) def. Werribee 10.11 (71)

There was a plethora of AFL players in action when Footscray and Werribee went head-to-head on the weekend. Bulldogs Matt Boyd (34 touches), Clay Smith (23 touches and 16 tackles) impressed, while Declan Hamilton (27 touches and a goal) may have earned himself a debut.

Braydon Preuss was exceptional for Werribee, he finished with 63 hit-outs and 17 disposals, while Mitch Hibberd (25 disposals) also performed well.

Box Hill 11.7 (73) def. by Casey 14.15 (99)

Young gun Sam Weideman kicked six goals as Casey handed Box Hill their first loss of the season. The forward had plenty of support with Jay Kennedy-Harris (39 touches), Dean Kent (34 touches) and Ben Kennedy (35 touches) all performing well.

Ty Vickery was again amongst the goal kickers for the Hawks, registering four majors, while Kade Stewart had 23 touches to go along with two goals.

Richmond 16.19 (115) def. Northern Blues 4.7 (31)

It was a glum day for Blues fans as they not only got beaten in the seniors, but also copped a hiding in the VFL. Anthony Miles was amongst the best for the Tigers, while Mabior Chol kicked two goals.

There wasn't a whole lot going for the Northern Blues, however, Rhys Palmer again performed well.

North Ballarat 6.15 (51) def. by Geelong 15.10 (100)

Timm House kicked four goals as Geelong easily dealt with North Ballarat. Ryan Abbott was also amongst the best and he also managed to hit the scoreboard with a goal.

The Roosters continue to struggle, however, Lachlan Cassidy, and Lachlan George both kicked three goals.
