Jaeger O'Meara is in doubt for Hawthorn's clash against the Saints at Marvel Stadium on Sunday, writes afl.com.au.

The gun midfielder has been in career-best form over the first three rounds of the 2019 season, helping guide the Hawks to a 2-1 start.

O'Meara hurt his hip last week against the Kangaroos but continued playing after receiving treatment. He continued his form with 32 touches in that contest, tallying (12 contested), 12 tackles and 10 clearances in what was deemed a best-on-ground display.

He was one of the last players to come out of the tunnel at training on Thursday and completed very basic handball drills before sitting the rest of the session out, according t0o afl.com.au.

Hawthorn will train again on Saturday prior to Sunday's clash, giving O'Meara another chance to prove his fitness.
