'St Kilda schoolgirl' Kimberley Duthie has revealed to social media her plans to release a tell-all book after receiving growing interest, per The Herald Sun.

Duthie, now Kimberley Ametoglou, was at the face of a number of scandals involving the St Kilda Football Club between 2010 and 2011, where she leaked nude photos of players.

Duthie was also embroiled in a hotel room scandal involving player agent Ricky Nixon and told 60 Minutes that she faked her pregnancy when dating former St Kilda player Sam Gilbert.

Posted to Instagram, Duthie revealed she would be releasing her memoirs following the expiration of her non-disclosure agreements.

“I can’t wait to share my truth and my life with you all,” Duthie said.

“This is one of the most challenging things I have ever done, reminiscing on past traumas and a time in my life that I was at absolute rock bottom.

“I wanted to be able to share what I couldn’t say 10 years ago during many TV interviews.

“NDA contracts have finally expired now it’s 2021 and it’s my chance to finally close a chapter.

“To be able to use my own words and describe what happened to me, I was a child & victim in many scenarios, though be mindful there is a lot of graphic content warnings and plenty of things I’m not proud of, though I want to be completely transparent & for it to be the truth.

“This is my story … So I can finally recover and gain closure.”

Duthie added that her plans to release the tell-all piece were not for gaining attention but for closure.

“The reason why I am writing the book is purely so I can heal and recover from all the trauma and PTSD that I was put through as a child and a teenager 10 years ago,” she said.

“It is not to create anymore controversy or to be thrown into the spotlight for the wrong reason again.

“I am just doing this as the last step of my journey so that I can move forward.

“I am a full-time mother and businesswoman. I don’t need to be thrown into the spotlight but people need to be accountable for what happened to me and what I was put through.

“To my friends, family and most importantly my Instagram family, the strangers that DM me on the daily and gave me the strength that I needed and the push that I needed to be able to share my story, you helped me realise that I was a child and I was a victim in many scenarios.

“You helped me see that I had a chance at a new life, you helped me when I had days that I was depressed, you helped me stop blaming myself for everything that happened.

“You gave me a second chance. It’s 10 years on and I’ve gone from being a child that blamed herself daily for what they put me through.”
