The extent of important Adelaide defender Wayne Milera's hamstring has been confirmed.
It comes after he was left out of the squad to face Essendon on Sunday, with debutant Oscar Ryan taking his place.

The absence means he will certainly miss games against Essendon and Richmond, but the club will be desperate for him to play against Fremantle, which shapes as a must-win game if the Crows are to make the top four, before meeting GWS in Round 24.
The 28-year-old has been in All Australian considerations after a career-best season averaging 26 disposals and playing some key roles, particularly as the Crows' form has spiked since the mid-season bye.
