Recently axed Fremantle ruckman Zac Clarke is attracting serous interest from a number of clubs as he looks to continue his AFL career.

Clarke was delisted by the Dockers at the end of this season after 101 games for the club.

He failed to play a senior this season as he recovered from a knee injury and resulting complications.

AFL.com.au reports GWS, Brisbane, Carlton, Melbourne, Richmond and the Western Bulldogs have all shown interest in the 27-year-old and are all on the lookout for an experienced ruckman.

Clarke played 13 games and averaged 20 hitouts, 2.8 marks and 2.6 tackles in 2016, before injury cruelled his 2017 season.

He can also move into the forward line and be effective inside 50, as he showed in 2012 and 2014, when he kicked 13 and 12 goals respectively in 15 (2012) and 21 (2014) games.
