We all know Matt Rowell loves football, but did you know he owns 52 Sherrin's?

The Gold Coast Suns youngster is the newest Sherrin ambassador and there is little wonder why the Victorian manufacturer chose Rowell for the role.

“I just grew to love Sherrin’s and just wanted the ball in my hands,” Rowell said and reported by Fox Sports reporter Matt Balmer.

“My parents, they find the collection funny. I’ve given them a few grey hairs kicking the footy around the house and breaking a few things.

The 19-year-old's collection includes the ball from his junior club Canterbury Cobras and the ball from draft night.

Rowell said every ball tells a story and reminisces about certain achievements in his life like when he represented Victoria in the under 12 carnival in Darwin.

Rowell has become a cult hero for his passion for the game and for tucking his jumper into his shorts.

The 19-year-old played five games in the debut season and collected nine Brownlow votes.
