At the age of 31, Hurn is putting together a career best season. On Friday night, his efficiency was a highlight, as he recorded 33 disposals including 26 kicks (94% efficiency), 13 marks, nine intercept possessions and 590 metres gained.

Full Back: Mark Blicavs (Geelong)

Blicavs had the role on in form forward Aaron Naughton and kept him to just one goal, while recording 11 disposals and three marks himself.

Back Pocket: Tom Stewart (Geelong)

Stewart continues to play a crucial role for Geelong in 2019. Against the Dogs, Stewart recorded 22 disposals (19 kicks), six marks, six intercept possessions and 401 metres gained.

Half Back: Lachie Whitfield (GWS)

Whitfield produced one of the best individual performances in recent years in the win over the blues, recording 40 disposals, 18 marks, three goals, four tackles, 14 score involvements, four intercept possessions and 556 metres gained.

Centre Half Back: Dane Rampe (Sydney)

Rampe had the role on Ben Brown and kept him to just five touches, which proved crucial in the result of the game. He also had 18 disposals.

Half Back: Bachar Houli (Richmond)

Richmond’s run and carry off of half back proved influential in their win on Sunday afternoon. Houli managed 35 disposals, nine marks, three score involvements and 338 metres gained.
