It was a round of footy that showed us just how good the game can be with plenty of attacking ball movement and exciting play.

Some big performances took centre stage, none more so than Christian Petracca's. Petracca had a career-best game against the Hawks and is starting to string together a brilliant 2020 portfolio.

He is joined in the midfield by ruckman Tim English who dominated Essendon on Friday night and budding Saints star Jack Steele.

Adam Treloar occupies one wing with Sam Walsh on the other, who showed the naysayers why he was number one pick in 2018.

Charlie Dixon's dominance over Liam Jones has him playing out of the square, while Harry McKay also holds down a spot up forward after another three-goal performance. Fellow Blue Jacob Weitering holds down one of the defensive points along with Port Adelaide's Tom Jonas.

Under pressure GWS captain Stephen Coniglio stood up in his side's loss to Brisbane, while youngsters Izak Rankine and Derek Eggmolesse-Smith make the cut after exciting performances.
