After a controversial period for Rampe, he has returned to his brilliant best in the last three weeks. Rampe recorded 32 disposals, 12 marks, 10 intercept possessions and 748 metres gained against the Eagles.

Full Back: Kyle Hartigan (Adelaide)

Hartigan played on Coleman Medal leader Jeremy Cameron and kept him to just one goal, while also recording 15 disposals and nine marks.

Back Pocket: Tom Stewart (Geelong)

Stewart recorded 27 disposals (24 kicks), nine marks and 554 metres gained against the Tigers on Friday night.

Half Back: Jake Lloyd (Sydney)

Lloyd was everywhere against the Eagles, finishing with 42 disposals, nine marks and three tackles.

Centre Half Back: Jacob Weitering (Carlton)

The much-maligned number one draft pick played one of the best games of his career in the Blues’ win over Brisbane, finishing with 16 disposals and 10 intercept possessions.

Half Back: Callum Mills (Sydney)

A move into the midfield still looms for Mills, but against the Eagles he played a crucial role down back, recording 25 disposals and 11 marks.
