Greater Western Sydney are showing interest in St Kilda defender Shane Savage, with the 29-year-old yet to commit to the Saints for next season, per Fox Footy.

Savage featured for Brett Ratten's side on just two occasions in 2020 and is reportedly keen on a move away from Moorabbin if it guarantees more game time at senior level.

The pacey defender played in St Kilda's semi-final defeat to Richmond, collecting 17 disposals, one goal and close to 400 metres gained.

The Giants lost defensive pairing Zac Williams and Aidan Corr via free agency, with veteran half-back Heath Shaw delisted following the conclusion of the season.

Savage was drafted to Hawthorn in 2008, playing 56 games in the brown and gold before moving to St Kilda in 2013.

The veteran defender has played 109 games with the Saints, including all 22 matches last year, a season where he finished in the club's best and fairest top 10.
