Richmond has decided to ramp up its pre-match entertainment to kick off season 2016, with the Tigers set to use a parade of horse to launch the new season.

The Tigers' pre-match entertainment for the season opener is centered around Daryl Braithwaite's classic hit song, Horses.

Four horses will parade around the perimetre of the MCG as Braithwaite performs the song prior to their clash with Carlton on Thursday, March 24.

The song will also be played at quarter-time and half-time will feature a Horses inspired lip-sync battle.
