Jacob Hopper has picked Richmond as his trade destination, per reports from The Age's Sam McClure.

Hopper, despite being contracted to the Giants for another season, has been linked with an exit from Western Sydney, with rival clubs showing significant interest in the 25-year-old.

Both Richmond and Geelong were courting the Giant, both offering long-term, lucrative offers to lure him to Victoria, with the Tigers set to get their man.

Hopper isn't the only Giant linked to Punt Road, with Tim Taranto in serious talks to become a Tiger.

Hopper, who joined the Giants in 2015 as the number 7 pick, managed just seven games this season as he dealt with a knee injury.

At present, Richmond holds picks 12, 19, 30 and 84 at the 2022 National Draft, a series of which will require parting with to lure the duo south of the Murray.
