Richmond premiership players Jayden Short and Josh Caddy have both signed contract extension with the Tigers that will see them remain at Punt Road until the end of 2022.

Both players were involved in Richmond's 2019 premiership, while Caddy was also part of their 2017 premiership.

General Manager of Football Talent Blair Hartley spoke to the club's website about the pair's importance to the side.

"We’ve really enjoyed Josh and Jayden’s football development in their time at Richmond - they’re now both premiership players, and they help to make us a better team."

"They both bring great value both on and off the field, and we’re rapt they’re continuing with us for two more years."

Caddy has played 62 games for the Tigers after crossing over from Geelong in 2016 while Short has played 71 games since being drafted in the 2015 Rookie Draft.
