To build your ChampCash balance you need to place bets using that ChampCash, on real sporting events, similar to a regular bookie.
For example, there are as many as 13 options to choose from for each AFL match this weekend. These include betting on the Final Match Result, the First Goal Scorer, the Half Time/Full Time leader, First Quarter result and even whether the Total Points from the match will be an odd or even number.
You must place a minimum of five bets per entry or rebuy, to be eligible for your winnings.
How’s SportChamps different?
Where SportChamps differs most from a regular bookie is that fact you are competing against other punters to win money.
When you pay your entry fee into the tournament, all of the money will go into a pool, with the winnings then divvied up at the end amongst the top 40% of players.
The total winnings of course depend on the number of people who entered the tournament. SportChamps takes a small cut of the prize pool.
At the end of the tournament the higher up the leader board you finish, the more cash you will win.

The ‘My Mates’ section is the best unique and innovative feature of SportChamps. Here you can invite friends and create your own tournament amongst your mates.
This is just like entering a normal tournament in terms of the bets you can place, however, it is a fun way to include friends and means there’s a bit more at stake, including plenty of pride.
It also means you know where the money is going, rather than ending up in a stranger’s pocket or a bookmaker’s pocket. I found this one of the best features of the platform.
There is also a ‘Trash Talk’ section to chat to your opponents, which is interesting. It can add some fun banter between mates, but I’m personally not a huge fan of it when betting with strangers.
As it’s a new social betting platform, the learning curve is a bit sharp but once you get your head around it, it’s a very enjoyable experience.
