Collingwood forward Moana Hope will reportedly miss Collingwood's round two clash with Fremantle at Optus Stadium, after being dropped from the side that lost to Carlton in round one.

On SEN Afternoons, host Andy Maher was told the star Pie would be omitted ahead of Saturday's game, which is a big blow for the Pies.

Hope struggled to affect the game last Friday night, recording just six disposals and one tackle in a sub-par performance.

The Collingwood star was one of the biggest names entering the 2017 AFLW season, although she was hampered with injury all campaign long despite playing every game, kicking just seven goals.

Hope will join teammate Sarah D'Arcy on the sidelines for the round two clash, as D'Arcy serves the first of her two-game ban for kicking Carlton's Sarah Hosking.
