Sam Edmund has reported that Aiden Bonar will end up at a new club in Victoria by the end of the trade period.

North Melbourne is a chance to land Bonar, as the young GWS utility has only played six games during his two years at the Giants.

This report follows North raising eyebrows by sending their 8th selection in this year's draft to Melbourne for a future first-round pick and picks 26 and 50 in this year's draft.

Essendon is also in the mix to land the 20-year-old as they once again look to add to their midfield stocks.

Bonar was selected by the Giants in the 2017 draft with pick 11.
