Tom Browne has this morning revealed on Triple M's The Hot Breakfast that in-form Richmond defender Jayden Short has re-committed with the club.

Short has resisted several offers from other clubs to stay a Tiger for an additional two years, Browne believes.

"I believe Richmond will imminently announce a new deal for Short," Browne reported on The Hot Breakfast this morning.

"I'm not surprised Short was the next domino to drop... he'll go close to being an All-Australian with what he's done this year," Luke Darcy responded.

Short has been a revelation for the Tigers in 2018, playing 18 games and announcing himself as one of the league's most deadly users by foot.

He averages 4.6 rebound 50s per game, and gains more meters than any other player in the AFL.
