Tom Browne has this morning revealed on Triple M’s The Hot Breakfast that in-form Richmond defender Jayden Short has re-committed with the club.

Short has resisted several offers from other clubs to stay a Tiger for an additional two years, Browne believes.

“I believe Richmond will imminently announce a new deal for Short,” Browne reported on The Hot Breakfast this morning.

“I’m not surprised Short was the next domino to drop… he’ll go close to being an All-Australian with what he’s done this year,” Luke Darcy responded.

Short has been a revelation for the Tigers in 2018, playing 18 games and announcing himself as one of the league’s most deadly users by foot.
