Fremantle's Bradley Hill is expected to submit a trade request before the off-season, with a view of returning back to Melbourne.

Hill, who left for the Dockers from Hawthorn at the end of the 2016 season, is set to follow his partner back to Victoria and will submit the trade request as early as Friday, according to the Herald Sun.

The midfielder is set to be in high demand, with a number of clubs including Carlton, Geelong, St Kilda, Melbourne and North Melbourne all said to be monitoring his movements.

The 26-year-old has imp0ressed for the Dockers this season, averaging a career-high 24.7 disposals, 2.0 clearances, 4.0 inside 50s and 3.6 marks per game.

Hill has two more years to run on his current deal, and would likely command a late first-round pick.
