The Blue Baggers look to have their eyes on young GWS midfielder Will Setterfield.

Journalist Tom Browne stated that he believed Carlton have "basically locked in" Setterfield on Triple M radio on Friday morning.

“I think they’ve basically locked in Will Setterfield from the Giants, trade-wise, who was number five in the 2016 draft,” Browne said.

“That’ll develop into a pretty big trade story concerning the Blues.”

The Bombers have also been linked to the Giants Academy player who is currently in rehab after rupturing his ACL earlier in the year.

Setterfield is contracted with the Giants until the end of 2020 which means rival teams will have to give up something for his services.
