A tackle from the 2023 premiership teammate Billy Frampton has left Demon Brody Mihocek in the hands of trainers during the second quarter of the traditional King's Birthday clash.
Unsuccessfully attempting to evade the tackle of Frampton, who was awarded a holding the ball free kick for the tackle, Mihocek had his head driven into the turf, appearing dazed after the incident. Neck damage was feared such was the nature of the contact with the turf.
After a 10-minute delay while Mihocek was administered care, both playing groups got over to the workman-like key forward, such is his connection to both clubs.

The confronting scenes halted an entertaining clash, with multiple classy finishes and absorbing contests populating the game's first half.
Across his time with both clubs, Mihocek, a mature-aged recruit who debuted for the Pies in the run to the 2018 Grand final, "Checkers" has kicked 283 majors from 169 matches.
Given issues with concussion in 2020, 2023 and earlier in 2026, no corners will be cut in the rehabilitation journey that now awaits the Tasmanian.
