Port Adelaide duo Chad Wingard and Hamish Hartlett are both expected to return from injury this week against Greater Western Sydney, teammate Jackson Trengove said on Monday.

The pair missed Friday night’s win over Essendon with hamstring injuries, while Hartlett also missed the previous week with the injury.

“They are two really quality players. We all know what they can do and what they add to our footy team,” Trengove said.

“All reports are they are going really well … I’m pretty sure both the boys are pretty close or will play this weekend.”

However, key forward Jay Schulz is still set to miss several weeks due to a back injury.

“He is having a little bit of trouble with it,” Trengove said.

“He did get a good response from the jabs but it’s still a bit of a waiting game for Jay.”

The Power play the Giants at StarTrack Oval on Sunday afternoon.
