Collingwood's Nathan Murphy has been charged with misconduct by the MRO, offered a financial sanction of $1000.

Murphy was charged for a fiery second term incident with Aaron Cadman, where he pulled down the young Giants' shorts.

The incident, which happened just over the boundary line, saw Cadman retaliate with a push to Murphy, which resulted in a Collingwood free kick.

The 23-year-old has been hit with a $1500 fine as a result, with Murphy able to accept $1000 with an early plea.

Murphy's sanction was the only charge from the MRO from Sunday's action. Earlier in the weekend, both Aidan Corr (striking) and Tom Sparrow (rough conduct) were offered one-match bans for their respective incidents on Saturday.
