Three young stars, all playing different positions and all putting their best foot forward in the 2019 AFL season, who do you pick?

Star forward Joe Daniher? Classy midfielder Patrick Cripps? Intercept defender Darcy Moore?

Daniher has looked strong since returning from injury, Cripps among the Brownlow Medal contenders, while Moore has become one of the most damaging defenders in the game.

Former Melbourne captain Garry Lyon says Darcy Moore is his pick of choice.

“I’d take Darcy Moore,” he told SEN Breakfast on Monday.

“I’d go with Darcy Moore because Joe Daniher’s a bit one-dimensional, and a very good dimension, but can’t play elsewhere.

“Cripps, I’d be happy with Cripps, but I’m a massive Moore fan.

“I think he can be one of the generational defenders for the next decade, but at a pinch, imagine throwing Darcy Moore into that Collingwood forward line? It would be a nightmare.

“He was fantastic on Friday night.”

Who would you take first?
