Former coaching great Paul Roos believes it's Richmond's premiership to lose this season, but feels as though there are two sides that could can nab the premiership from them.

"Hawthorn has a good game-style, they play keepings off from the opponent and set up well behind the ball," he told Triple M Adelaide.

"I think the Giants are more talented than Hawthorn. They're the smokey. They've got a few injuries but can match talent"

"We know it's going to be hard, because Richmond play so well at the MCG,"

"It's Richmond's to lose at the moment, but having said that, Kane Lambert's out, we know (there's) two weeks to go in the season.

Roos acknowledged that things can change quickly. With plenty of footy to be played, if one of the contenders can get healthy and go on a run, anything could happen.
