The Roos will wear a commemorative guernsey for Drew Petrie's 300th match on the weekend.

The guernsey will feature a specially designed graphic with Petrie's initials, while also symbolising the number 300th.

The 33-year-old will become the fifth Kangaroos player to reach 300th career games, behind Brent Harvey (415 games), Glenn Archer (311), Wayne Schimmelbusch (306) and Adam Simpson (306).

Petrie will also become the 74th player in VFL/AFL history to reach the milestone.

In a career spanning 16 seasons, Petrie has kicked 409 goals, led the Roos' goal kicking on five occasions and was a member of the 2011 All-Australian team.
