The Match Review Panel has laid nine charges after the completion of round 10, however, no suspensions were handed down.

Seven players were fined for their involvement in a first quarter melee during Richmond’s win over Fremantle in Perth on Friday night.

Jack Riewoldt, Ty Vickery, Shane Edwards and Nick Suban were all fined $1,000 for their part in the melee.

Danyle Pearce and Michael Walters were fined $1,500 for a second offence of being involved in a melee, while Shane Edwards was fined $1,500 for instigating the scuffle.

Geelong captain Joel Selwood was fined $1,000 for a first offence of making careless contact with an umpire.

North Melbourne defender Scott Thompson was also fined $1,000 for his trip on West Coast’s Mark LeCras.
