Axed Cat Jordan Murdoch is set to join the Gold Coast Suns next season, according to a report by Sam McClure in The Age.

It is understood that the Suns are also interested in signing luckless former Saint and Magpie Nathan Freeman

Murdoch was delisted by the Cats after 108 senior games, and was being courted by Gold Coast and St Kilda, but has reportedly decided to join the Suns on a three-year deal.

Freeman was let go by the Saints at the end of the season after playing just two senior games, finally making his AFL debut during round 20 some five years after he was drafted.

The 24-year old is yet to complete a medical at any club but may enter negotiations with the Suns in the near future.
