The Match Review Officer has handed down 10 charges from Saturday's action, with Hawthorn's Changkuoth Jiath the only player to have copped a suspension.

Jiath has been hit with a rough conduct (dangerous tackle) charge for an opening quarter incident involving St Kilda's Jack Steele during Saturday's match at Marvel Stadium.

The MRO viewed the tackle as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact, seeing Jiath receive a one-game ban.

The Hawks defender has since accepted the charge with an early plea, meaning he will miss his side's clash with the Suns week in Tasmania this weekend.

Giant Braydon Preuss has avoided suspension for his bump on Swan James Rowbottom during the first quarter of Saturday's match at the SCG.

The MRO has handed Preuss a $2000 fine after viewing the incident as  Intentional Conduct, Low Impact and Body Contact.

Preuss can accept the sanction with an early plea, or challenge the charge at the AFL Tribunal.

In the same match, Sydney defender Dane Rampe has been charged with rough conduct (dangerous tackle) for his incident involving GWS midfielder Tim Taranto in the third quarter.

Rampe can accept a $2000 fine with an early plea.

During Saturday's match between Collingwood and Port Adelaide, four players were charged for engaging in a melee.

Taylor Adams, Jack Ginnivan, Jeremy Finlayson and Zak Butters can all accept $1000 fines for their involvement in the scuffle.

Young Magpie Nick Daicos has been charged with striking Port Adelaide's Travis Boak, and can accept a $1500 fine, while his skipper Scott Pendlebury can accept a $2000 fine for a rough conduct charge on Power player Sam Powell-Pepper.
