Victoria Police have confirmed that two more officers have been charged for allegedly leaking photos of former North Melbourne coach Dani Laidley while in custody.
It follows a senior constable last week getting handed similar charges for allegedly sharing the photos of the 53-year old.
The police released a statement on Monday morning confirming that โa senior constable from Southern Metro Region has been charged with misconduct in public office, unauthorised access of police information and two counts of unauthorised disclosure of police information.โ
The officer remains suspended and will appear at the Melbourne Magistratesโ Court on 11 February 2021.
Additionally, โa constable from North West Metro Region has been charged with two counts of unauthorised disclosure of police information.โ
The constable has been transferred to other duties and will appear at the Ringwood Magistrates' Court on 5 February 2021.
Previously known as Dean Laidley, Dani changed her name having undergone a gender transition.
Laidley played 151 AFL games for the West Coast Eagles and North Melbourne before going on to coach the Roos from 2003-2009.
