Victoria Police have confirmed that two more officers have been charged for allegedly leaking photos of former North Melbourne coach Dani Laidley while in custody.

It follows a senior constable last week getting handed similar charges for allegedly sharing the photos of the 53-year old.

The police released a statement on Monday morning confirming that โ€œa senior constable from Southern Metro Region has been charged with misconduct in public office, unauthorised access of police information and two counts of unauthorised disclosure of police information.โ€

The officer remains suspended and will appear at the Melbourne Magistratesโ€™ Court on 11 February 2021.

Additionally, โ€œa constable from North West Metro Region has been charged with two counts of unauthorised disclosure of police information.โ€

The constable has been transferred to other duties and will appear at the Ringwood Magistrates' Court on 5 February 2021.

Previously known as Dean Laidley, Dani changed her name having undergone a gender transition.

Laidley played 151 AFL games for the West Coast Eagles and North Melbourne before going on to coach the Roos from 2003-2009.
