Collingwood is set to take three selections at Tuesday night's Mid-Season Draft.
The Magpies are widely tipped to use their first selection to take a ruck following Oscar Steene's ACL rupture, with Harrison Coe, Flynn Riley and Tom Scully strongly linked.
The second selection will be used on a rebounding defender. Geelong VFL's Marcus Herbert is the Pies' preference, but he is likely to be off the board before Pick 15. Frankston VFL left footer Jackson Voss and Williamstown's Hugo Hall-Kahan are the defenders who have been most closely linked. Voss has also been linked to West Coast, where his best mate Tom McCarthy is listed, and Melbourne.
The third selection will be used on a forward, with Coburg's Mitch Podhajski in the mix.
Western Bulldogs are also keen on Marcus Herbert, but will have to make a decision about whether to select him or one of the three talls they have shown interest in: Scully, Coe and Caleb May.
Carlton's choice appears to be down to two players: ruck Flynn Riley and Richmond VFL's Sam Toner.
The club was not expected to take a player until Matt Carroll's ACL rupture on Saturday night.
Adelaide has been widely tipped to select Hugo Hall-Kahan, having previously been linked to local players.
Port Adelaide is expected to select powerful North Melbourne VFL midfielder Xavier Bamert, who last year captained Sandringham Dragons, and SANFL ruck Alex Van Wyk.
Ollie Griffin is the leading prospect from the Talent League and has been linked to North Melbourne, Hawthorn and Melbourne. Melbourne will take three players, with Max Mapley and Voss also strongly in the mix, while Calder Cannons athletic interceptor is also in their sights after some strong showings for Essendon's VFL side.
Southport small forward Campbell Lake has also received interest from St Kilda and Western Bulldogs.
As has been previously reported by this masthead, Essendon is almost certain to take half-back Jaxon Artemis with Pick 1, while Richmond is equally likely to take Geelong VFL tall Kye Annand with Pick 2.
