Melbourne Demons forward Alex Neal-Bullen has signed a fresh new contract with the club for an extra three years.

Neal-Bullen's new contract will see him playing in the red and blue for another three years until 2026. The premiership player was draft at Pick 40 in the 2014 National Draft and hasย  been a key contributor for the team.

Melbourne list manager Tim Lamb noted that Neal-Bullen signing a new contract and staying with the club is very exciting and beneficial for the red and blue.

"To have Alex, who qualified for Free Agency this year, commit to the club is fantastic,

"He plays a crucial role in our team and is a fantastic leader within our group. He has developed over the years into a high-level, consistent performer, who leaves no stone unturned in his preparation," Lamb toldย Melbourne Media.ย

โ€œAlex is one of our most respected and admired players, who continually drives standards within the group. His willingness to play a selfless team-first role makes him an extremely valuable member and we look forward to him continuing to grow over the next three seasons with us," he said.

So far this season Neal-Bullen has collected 88 disposals and kicked six goals, with more to come throughout the rest of the season.

Neal-Bullen is one of many Demons players who have decided to re-sign and extend contracts with the club on lengthy deals. Other players include Christian Petracca (2029), Angus Brayshaw (2028), Bayley Fritsch (2026), Christian Salem (2026)ย  and Clayton Oliver (2030).

The Demons will face off against North Melbourne on Saturday Night at 7:25pm (AEDT).
