Melbourne has reached out to support exciting forward Latrelle Pickett over an alcohol-related incident following the loss to Geelong in Round 20.
Pickett is understood to have drunk alcohol 48 hours after suffering a concussion from an errant Lawson Humphries elbow.
The Demons reiterated and emphasised the importance of looking after his physical and mental health, whilst reaffirming professional standards, according to the Herald Sun.
Pickett copped the knock in the third term, and missed the trip to Gold Coast with concussion, and wasn't selected for Saturday's enthralling clash with Fremantle at the MCG. He didn't play in the VFL as the Casey Demons enjoyed a week off with a bye.
Melbourne hasn't issued any sanction, and the 2025 draftee is available to play against Port Adelaide on Saturday. The reserves side takes on Box Hill on Sunday.
Demons coach Steven King is set to speak at 9:30 am on Tuesday.
Pickett has played 16 AFL games after he was drafted with Pick 12 last year. He's kicked 10 goals and averaged 8.8 disposals.
